        • Planted about 12 last year. All are thriving. Beautiful white flowers the second year. Beautiful light green leaves. I was surprised by the gorgeous fall colors that lasted all winter. The red and bronze leaves did not fall off until late March. I think it may be more beautiful in the winter than in the summer. Surprised they don't mention this feature.

        • I planted 5 of these. After planting during the spring, I noticed that there were several branches that died but by the end of the season all had filled out rather nicely. I specifically bought this variety due to the plant tag boasting red fall foliage, but I am disappointed that none of the 5 shrubs turned anything but a dark green. The flowers bloomed in mid summer and lasted a couple weeks but didn't have a scent and weren't overwhelmingly 'pretty.' I'm willing to give them another season to see how they grow into their space, but unsure if I will keep them long term. Zone 6.

        • I planted 2 Fizzy Mizzies this spring (2022). Both plants started out doing great, then in the middle of the summer, both plants completely defoliated. I still haven't determined the reason for this. I thought both plants were dead but then a few weeks later, I noticed that both were putting on leaves again, although not all over. After checking the sections that were not putting out new growth, I did determine that a considerable amount of both plants was dead. Hopefully, the part that is alive survives the winter and really starts bouncing back next spring.
